Since 2019, UTB has been hosting a biannual conference, the second edition of which was postponed due to the pandemic. However, it is now scheduled to take place in October 2023 as part of the UTB Congress.

This conference aims at reflecting on the business management innovation, finance and technological development for the organization and other relevant normative, empirical, and theoretical concerns, implementation, strategy, management and policy that are distinctive to Fintech and entrepreneurial innovation and development. Technological change is recognized as one of the main drivers of long-term growth while entrepreneurship as the engine growth of the nation. Radical innovations such as the mobile internet, the Internet of Things and cloud computing are likely to revolutionize production processes and enhance living standards, particularly in developing countries.

The conference will bring together academics, practitioners, policy makers, professionals, researchers interested in business management and information system areas across the disciplines to creates a ftorum for researchers to share with each other their views, opinions, and findings on activities that facilitate developments in the areas of Business Management and Information System.  This 2023 maiden conference will enable participants to disseminate their researches to a wide audience of scholars and practitioners in Asia and beyond. The proposed activities in the conference are as follows,

  • Providing forum for discussion, critical analysis and networking among academics, research students, policy makers, and practitioners with interest in contemporary issues in Business, Management and Information Systems
  • Encouraging and supporting high quality Business, Management and Information Systems education.
  • Promoting international research gatherings that provide opportunity to present research and exchange ideas
  • Sponsoring professional seminars and roundtable meetings to bridge the views between academic research and policies
