Professor Hun Tong TAN 

Title: Disruptive trends and implications for research and education 

Hun Tong TAN is the United Overseas Bank Chair and Professor of Accounting at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He received his B. Acc (Honors) from the National University of Singapore, and M.A. (Psychology) as well as Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Michigan. He is the Director of the Centre for Accounting and Auditing Research, and former Head of the Division of Accounting at NTU. His research interest focuses on understanding the judgment and decision making processes of preparers, users, and financial intermediaries of accounting information, and how institutional and environmental features influence such judgments and decisions. His work is characterized by the use of psychological theories and experimentation to gain insights into fundamental accounting issues

Dr Iman Harymawan

Title: The role of accounting on business resilience to support the achievement of the SDGs 

Iman Harymawan is a Professor at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, holding roles as Head of the Center for Environmental, Social, and Governance Studies and Director of Airlangga Global Engagement. He holds a Ph.D. in accounting, an MBA, and a B.A. in accounting. He has authored numerous articles in international journals, predominantly focusing on the relationship between accounting information and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues in business. Over the past 5 years, he has secured substantial research grants and serves as Editor in Chief at the Asian Journal of Accounting Research. He actively contributes to regulatory initiatives and is involved in ESG-focused organizations. He has also received awards, authored books, and teaches various courses.

Mohammed Sayeed

Title: Data analytics and its application in business - A Real Life Use Case

Over fifteen years of experience in the field of advanced analytics / data science, both within industry and as a Big 4 management consultant. Gained across multiple geographies and clients; from global telcos to newspapers in Sweden, global sports apparel firms, large UK retailers, airlines across EMEA, a spaceflight firm in the US and international organisations in Switzerland, to name but a few. Strong team player; having worked as part of a team and established, led and mentored numerous teams both in industry and as a management consultant. Very experienced in solving and delivering a diverse set of analytical use cases, across numerous business domains, through various technologies and advanced analytical algorithms. Deep and broad experience across a number of industries, including telecoms, media, technology, travel, government, sports, healthcare and retail.
